Service, Repair, Restoration

PEGASUS GARAGE

Pegasus started life as a Land Rover Specialist in 1993. Whilst never losing sight of
our Land Rover roots, we have evolved over the years in response to customer
demand to cater for all vehicles old and new. A trip to our home will see an array of
automotive activities from restoration of a 1954 Riley, through to a Discovery 4 or a
Bentley on the ramp. If you are a Petrolhead it’s worth popping in for a cuppa!

DES

Des missed out on his true vocation as chief taster for a tea company but has spent a lifetime (which is far longer than he’ll admit to) driving repairing and being passionate about Land Rovers. Eventually he figured he spent so much time working
on them for himself, friends and family that he might as well do it full time! In 2003 an opportunity arose to purchase Pegasus from the family of the founder and Pegasus has been his life ever since.

JASON

Jason has 10 years experience as a mechanic, beginning in a general automotive
garage (where he met Des as a fresh faced apprentice), before specialising in service
and restoration of Bentley and Rolls Royce vehicles. Jason has owned a number of
Land Rovers and joined the Pegasus family in 2018.

TALLIS

In 2012 Tallis broke every rule in the book and bought a Classic Range Rover in an Ebay auction after a Sunday lunchtime pub session.

This conflicted heavily with Tallis’ OCD nature and need for perfection in his toys. What followed (after Des’ prolonged bout of hysterical laughter) was a new engine, a body off strip down, and new just about everything else.

The cost was substantial but the friendship thatresulted was priceless. In 2018 Tallis wanted to realise a dream, Jason wanted a new challenge and Des wanted to take things a bit easier.  A company was created to be owned by all 3 and Pegasus entered its third generation.
